In our ambient breakfast hall an extensive breakfast buffet is served daily between 7:30 and 9:30 am.

Breakfast is included in the room price.

Usage of the Internet

From all our hotel rooms WiFi-internet access is possible.
For usage, please contact the reception upon arrival.

Extra terminal

By the reception desk a wired internet terminal offers internet access to all guests of Hotel Asterisk Amsterdam.

Connexxion Airport Hotel Shuttle

When you arrive by plane on Schiphol Airport you can take the Connexxion Airport Hotel Shuttle which will take you to our doorstep.

Bicycles

Amsterdam is particularly suitable for discovery by bicycle.
Therefore we can highly recommend renting a bicycle during your stay.

If you decide to bring along your own bicycle, you can store it in one of the racks situated in the secure, closed-off courtyard of Hotel Asterisk.

Motorbikes

For the motorbike riders who come to Amsterdam, we offer safe storage of their bike.
For this purpose we have built some wall anchors that come with corresponding locks (ART certified)

N.B. when you park your motorbike on the street you are not required to pay parking money in The Netherlands.

The area surrounding Amsterdam provides great touring possibilities with twisting dike roads or along the river the Amstel.
Rolf Haagedoorn will happily show you Amsterdam’s shadow’s most beautiful spots ready for discovery by motorbike.

Excursions

The Netherlands, and Amsterdam in particular, has a rich history.
For example in the field of city design, architecture, polder landscapes, science, water works.
All these fields can be enjoyed through many sights that are open to the pubic.

Culture and nightlife

Amsterdam has a lot to offer for both (visual) art, music and nightlife enthusiasts. The Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk museum, Van Gogh museum are just a few of the many cultural gems that Amsterdam boosts.

For classical music, pop music, jazz, opera and theatre you can visit the Concertgebouw, Paradiso, de Melkweg, Bimhuis, Stadsschouwburg and the Stopera. All at walking distance from Hotel Asterisk
